As a romantic icon of wealth, glamour, and mystery, Gatsby personifies the 1920s Jazz Age period of sex, parties, and money. But how did Fitzgerald come to develop such an iconic character? This course will dive deeply into the mesmerizing 1920s age of flappers, alcohol, jazz music, and sex, using the literature of Fitzgerald and the Harlem Renaissance writers to better grasp how the 1920s helped create the Gatsby icon and a modern America. 天下足球网,球探比分 will survey a medley of literary works from important Jazz Age authors like F.
