Description: | The gathering of hundreds or thousands of people has occurred for all sorts of reasons over the past two centuries: to cheer a football team, to demand justice, to worship a religion or a pop star. In this course, we'll think about the causes and effects of crowds in modern history. 天下足球网,球探比分'll focus on a few cases from around the world, exploring crowds' contradictory aims, complex behaviors, and impact on social belonging. Why are some crowds celebrated while others are denounced as "mobs"?
